Danspirations established in 2019 and is affiliated with the BATD, the British Association of Teachers of Dancing.

With classes for girls and boys from 3 years to adults, it is a fun friendly place to come to keep fit and meet new people!  Our classes have a relaxed atmosphere to allow everyone to enjoy their dance experience and progress to their best potential in their own time - everyone will learn differently and this is to be expected. Throughout the year there will be examinations and displays, as well as the option to attend workshops and competitions.  At the end of each term there will be an open studio where the parents can get an insight into the classes and see how their children have progressed.

CLAIRE SPENCE - PRINCIPAL

Claire started dancing at the age of three in her hometown of Aberdeen at Edith Duncan MBE School of Dance.  As a Scottish Championship and British Scholarship winner, Claire continued her training vocationally at The Hammond School in Chester, England where she studied intensively in Musical Theatre and Classical Ballet, graduating with a Diploma in Professional Dance.

Since graduating Claire travelled the world dancing on tours, on cruise ships, and also in UK pantomimes over the Christmas seasons.  As Dance Captain, Claire developed her eye for detail and directive, as well as progressing her own performance skills and style.

With extensive and varied training across many styles, Claire is a fully qualified teacher with the BATD teaching children and adults of all ages, both recreationally and for competitive work.  Through the school Claire hopes to pass on her love for dance to others.
